Salisbury Zumba Special Needs and Exercise Classes

Zumba® is so wonderfully adaptive and it transcends fitness because it is fun and no one is excluded. It is a great place to fit in with social interaction enhancing health and wellness.

To the right are some suggested classes.

Please contact me, Kirstie Pugh, if you have any questions, or would like more information on the classes or if you would like to set up a class.

Classes for special needs (both physical and mental disabilities) are similar to any Zumba® Gold class with easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography and focuses on all elements of fitness. But the main focus on having fun! No dance experience is needed and there are no wrong moves!

These classes are adapted for people of all abilities, allowing everyone the chance to express themselves in a supportive and encouraging environment.

No class is the same as it is adapted to fit the ability and range of motion of the participants. Some classes are standing and others seated catering specifically for the needs of the class.

I have been fortunate to instruct classes for many different groups which include: South Wilts Mencap Fundays (14-18yrs), 4 & More (14 - 18yrs) and New Horizons (18 - 30yrs), Learning Disabled Adults at Wiltshire Day Opportunities, Special Needs Childern at Exeter House School and Headway - The Brain Injury Association.

Fabulous, fun way to get fit! Kirstie's energy and enthusiasm is infectious, and the class is friendly... you are guaranteed to leave every Zumba class with a big smile on your face!"

This is so much fun! The time passes so quickly but the fact that you're aching the next day means it's working... For any level of fitness as you can choose how much of a move you want to make - highly recommended!
